Affiliate disclosure
How AncestorAdvisor separates editorial judgements from current or future commercial relationships.
No affiliate links are active
AncestorAdvisor may apply to affiliate programmes in the future. If accepted, some links may earn the publisher a commission when a reader makes a qualifying purchase. This would not increase the price paid by the reader.
How future affiliate links will work
- A clear disclosure will appear before or near the first affiliate link on a relevant page.
- Tracked links will be distinguishable from ordinary editorial and source links.
- Commission rates will not determine rankings or conclusions.
- Free, library and non-commercial alternatives will remain eligible for recommendation.
- A commercial relationship will not be described as an endorsement unless the evidence supports that description.
Editorial independence
Archive recommendations are intended to reflect collection fit, research goal, access, limitations and value. A higher-paying programme does not make a service more suitable for a particular newspaper, place or year.
We do not currently publish sponsored placements. If sponsorship is introduced, sponsored content will be labelled separately from independent editorial comparisons.
Check the provider’s current terms
Prices, plans, trials, collection holdings and cancellation terms can change. Check the provider’s current information before subscribing. AncestorAdvisor cannot guarantee a research result or the continued availability of any collection.
Third-party archive and service names are the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion for editorial comparison does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation.
